Amanda Sloan doesn't have a traditional background — and that's exactly what makes her effective.
At 19, while still in school, she took a role managing luxury high-rise apartment buildings in the Northeast. Within a year she was promoted to Assistant Manager. Shortly after, she became the Property Manager overseeing a portfolio of seven buildings with thousands of residential and commercial units — responsible for leasing, operations, financials, maintenance coordination, and everything in between. That experience gave her something most marketers don't have: a deep understanding of how businesses actually run, what happens when systems break down, and how to keep complex projects organized and moving.
In tandem, Amanda built a career in fashion, modeling and working closely with brands in Connecticut and New York City — including e-commerce and campaign work for companies like Macy's and Nike, alongside a range of boutique and emerging labels. She is also a classically trained singer who toured the Northeast and signed a record deal before COVID halted the project and ultimately freed her from a contract she was glad to leave behind.
When the pandemic hit and the world went still, Amanda went to Colorado. Spending time on the rivers in Breckenridge and Vail gave her space to reflect — and to see something clearly. The brands she had been working with were scrambling to move online, and most of them had no idea how to do it in a way that reflected the quality of their product. Online presence had gone from important to essential overnight, and the gap was everywhere. She taught herself to code, identified the opportunity, and built Sloan Solutions around it.
She launched in 2020, starting with fashion and boutique brands in the Northeast before bringing the concept to South Florida — where Palm Beach boutiques, luxury lifestyle brands, and real estate professionals became her core client base. She also partnered with a firm specializing in residential and commercial real estate marketing, rebuilding their entire roster of agent websites and developing content strategies across the board.
Amanda is also co-owner and Director of Operations at DC Luxury Builds, a luxury renovation and construction company. Her property management roots, design instincts, and operational discipline carry directly into that role — and that hands-on understanding of the real estate and renovation world informs how she serves those clients through Sloan Solutions as well.
Her background spans psychology, property management, fashion, music, technology, and construction. It's a combination that doesn't fit neatly into a category — and it's the reason clients get something genuinely different when they work with her. Creative instinct backed by structure. Visual expertise backed by strategy. A rare ability to look at a business from the outside and see exactly what needs to happen next.
